Frank Says

I am reading Frank Viola’s new book, From Eternity to Here, and will write a book review when I’m finished.  But his article, What’s Wrong With the Gospel?, is a great read.

  2. Yea. Beginning with God’s purpose for creation, makes for a more logical cross, and a passionate Christ Jesus – eager that we participate in the real thing, and not toy with silly little idols. Salvation apart from the context of the creation, is a message, that has—rightly—failed to capture the heart and mind – because it falls way short of the gospel’s function. Let’s keep at it! It is a great gospel.
