“Even if you win the rat race, you will still be a rat.”
God is not wiping his hands, fretting over who will win the presidential election. You see, it’s not Hillary or Donald who has the power to change America, but it is God and God alone.
My prayer today:
Lord, help us American believers to endure the 2016 Presidential Election race by looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith and who is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. (Based on Hebrews 12:1-2)
What do you think and has the Lord spoken to you today?
Join with me on Thursdays to fast and pray for America.
In this wondrous country, the United States of America, God has provided us a nation like no other, one where we the people have the power to rule ourselves. And in doing so we have been given the awesome privilege and responsibility to vote, to make a choice of who will lead and govern us. The choices are always a compromise because it is man running for office, Jesus is not on the ballot. So in every election for every office we are presented with the choice of the lesser of evils. As I read the bible it seems to me that choosing the lesser evil is always better than the greater evil unlike what the people of Jerusalem did when they choose Barabbas over Jesus. And to abstain or not vote seems to me as a vote for the greater evil. Voting is letting your voice be heard. If all Christians stay home from the polls then only the voice of the unsaved is heard. Is that what god wants? The supreme court is the biggest issue at stake in this election so consider wisely for each presidential candidate has stated clearly what kind of judges they will appoint. Hillary promised leftist judges that will rewrite the founding documents so as to take away religious freedoms and our right to bear arms, while Trump promises strict constitutional justices such as Scalia and Thomas who are strong for religious freedom and keeping the constitution as the founders wrote. Choose wisely as the Holy Spirit is right there in the voting booth with you.
Johan,
Thanks for your input. God bless you.
Thank you, Mr. Larry! I liked the word “endure” . I am going to add endure with grace . :). And mercy too! God bless you!

Thank you brother. So many of our brothers & sisters are so focused and caught up in election mania.
W e need to spend our time praying not hand wringing and fretting.
Daddy is in control.
Learning to hear His voice and resting in Hiis Shalom is how we will see Him work no matter what is happening in the world around us.
We are of another kingdom!
Ephraiyim,
I agree. God bless you.
