“Planning + Preparation = Survival” is FREE Today

Planning = Prep1

My book, Planning + Preparation = Survival, is FREE on Amazon today through Sunday.

Amazon book description:

WARNING: This book is written by a Christian author who believes Christian principles and prophecy can save lives. It is not just another “doomsday prepper” publication, telling you to buy land in Idaho and build a fortress there for you and your family. The author actually believes Psalm 91 declares the truths about the shelter we all need to seek now.

What is the #1 statement spoken by individuals during large catastrophes?

“I didn’t think this would ever happen to me.”

Why do they say this?

They thought catastrophes always happened to someone else, never to them. But if it did happen, they believed the government would arrive on the scene and rescue them before their cups of coffee turned cold.

If this is your present thinking, then allow me to say one word to smash your ideas to smithereens: Katrina. Yes, Hurricane Katrina, the watershed event when all should have learned to never again place our faith in governments to rescue us and our families from catastrophes.

“Planning + Preparation = Survival” is a new revision of the 2013 edition. It’s still a no-nonsense book written to show Christians how to pray, plan, and prepare ourselves, our families, and our communities for possible natural and terrorist catastrophes in the near future.

This book should be a required reading for all Christians, especially those who live in the cities of San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and Seattle.

Available on Amazon for Kindle and Kindle Apps. You can check it out here.

Prayers for Soon Coming Calamities in America (12/5/2017)

Preppers – at least, smart preppers – aren’t preparing for a zombie apocalypse. They’re preparing for life with physical insurance. Take it from me, you don’t appreciate how much you depend on full grocery stores and available utilities until they’re not there.

If the power goes out due to a bad storm, don’t think “God will provide” you with food, water and a heated shelter. It won’t be God; it will be your neighbors or the government – neither of which holds deistic status.

I dare anyone who has lived through a natural disaster to explain to me why they’re glad they had no food, water, or heat for an extended period of time. Come on, let’s hear it.

People, get off your lazy duffs. God provides eternal salvation, but He doesn’t magically fill your empty cupboards each night or keep your house warm during a power outage. That’s up to you. Now get busy. (Why Do People Scoff At Preppers by Patrice Lewis, a weekly columnist at WND and a writer with a great blog, which can be read here.)

I feel the Bible is balanced on the subject of preparing ourselves for future calamities. On the one hand, it tells us to store up what we can and on the other hand, it tells us to trust in the Lord. So, let’s be wise and do both.

My prayer today:

Lord, help us to get off our lazy duffs and do what we can now to prepare us for future calamities in America.

What do you think and has the Lord spoken to you today?

Prayers for Soon Coming Calamities in America (11/14/2014)

If you enter the word “preppers” on Google, there will be 8,220,000 results. The definition of a prepper is a person who believes a catastrophic disaster or emergency is likely to occur in the future and makes active preparations for it now, typically by stockpiling food, ammunition, and other supplies.

I have written a book on the subject: Preparation + Planning = Survival, on the subject. It’s written from a prophetic Christian viewpoint.

My biggest problem with most preppers is that they are only looking out for themselves and their families. You know, store up food, water, and guns — shoot anyone who tries to steal your food and water.

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 2:4)

I believe in preparing ahead of time for calamities, but in doing so, we must also provide for our neighbors.

How can we do that?

If God could give Joseph a plan to save Egypt from seven years of famine, He can do the same for us now.

My prayer today:

Lord, raise up modern Josephs with Your anointing and Your plans to provide for neighborhoods and cities in the coming years of famine due to calamities and whatever.

What do you think and has the Lord spoken to you today?
