Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. (Romans 13:1)
Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. (Titus 2:17)
As it looks right now, Senator Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. He has won Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Mexico. Though Senator John McCain has not conceded as yet, it looks bleak for his campaign.
So, President-elect Barack Obama, I pledge my prayer support for you and your family, as well as for Senator Joe Biden and his family. I pray that your administration will be like King David and do the will of God for today’s generation of Americans. God bless you and Michelle.
As for me, I have missed the voice of the Lord concerning this election. For that, I ask your forgiveness, especially if I have caused you any agony or pain with my prophetic words.
I have always taught that prophetic words come from three sources: God, a person’s imagination (or flesh), or Satan. Over the next few days, I will seek the Lord on why I missed Him on this election. And then, I will write my findings.
So, once again, God bless Barack Obama and forgive me for my errors…. Larry Who

Hello Larry,
I think you will be pleasantly surprised with our new President. He’s brilliant. I think we will find a newfound pride in many people. Chins will be up. Smiles will be everywhere. It will be good Larry.
I am having a very difficult time right now. How can I ever be sure that I have heard from God again? How can any of us? How can I ever pray that God blesses this nation, when it totally handed it over to unrighteousness? I know I am supposed to pray for Obama, but right now, I cannot, truthfully. Honestly, right now, I cannot even pray that God forgives us and heals our land. Right now, I just cannot pray at all. I hope you all can forgive me for me incredible disappointment in my country.
Larry
I’ve got nothing but props for ya man. I have nothing but appreciation for a man who sticks to his word. Keep declaring…things will shift.
America will never be the same. All the pro-life community work has gone down the tubes in 1 night. Unbelievable, this is sign from God, we are under judgement, no doubt about it, This election was a snapshot of the hearts of the American people as a whole. They love unrighteouness because their deeds are evil. Worse judgement is coming and I fear what it will be.
mdr1972,
I completely agree. We are indeed under judgment. I feel especially bad for the pro-life movement. Those people have paid the price with their blood, sweat, and tears. The babies deserve better. America just shot itself in the foot tonight. God gave America what it asked for. God help us all.
Wasn’t there a referendum on the legality of abortion in South Carolina tonight which was comprehensively beaten?
I don’t think John McCain would have bothered raising the abortion issue if he had been elected anyway. Whilst there are a number of people who are strongly against abortion, the majority of the nation agrees it ought to remain legal, so I don’t see President Obama’s election as having any great impact on the pro-life movement.
Anyway, have a lovely day π
Lucy
Lucy,
The thing is, most analysts believe the next administration could see 2 new Supreme Court justices replaced. McCain would have replaced them with pro-life justices. Once that happened, people would have brought challenges to Roe v. Wade to the Supreme Court to have it overturned, and it would have been. At that point, it would have gone back to the states. Unfortunately, now, I do not believe Roe v. Wade will ever be overturned, at least not in our lifetime. In addition, Obama said that one of the first things he will do is sign the Freedom of Choice act, which takes all restrictions, parental notification, bans on partial birth abortions, etc., off the table. God help us, because this country is going to have a lot of blood on its hands.
God hears those cries for the unborn, I am pro-life 100% and even moreso now. I didn’t see how McCain was going to appoint a pro-life justice with a Democrat Senate. It was not going to happen. Jesus is coming very soon, I’m excited about that, I want to make sure I am ready.
The blood of those babies who have been murdered cry out to God and he will avenge them. I shudder to think how He will do it.
Today, I am not worried, we are in for very rough times but hey, they will just increase the presense of the Lord and the Church! We need to come out from among the political parties and speak LOUD! We should be the Ekklesia that God has appointed us to be. There will be buyers remorse with Obama, rest assured.
Larry, I disagree with your views, but I have a great deal of respect for you for putting your support, however reluctantly, behind President Elect Obama.
I hope you are not disappointed.
Well, actually, I hope you’re a little disappointed, as there are many issues we disagree with.
But I hope you’re not terribly disappointed.
Larry, tonight was a victory for the Kingdom of God.
jimfox,
I would like to know how. Obama is the most ungodly, unChristian president we have ever had.
Pcal7,
If only that were true, I’d be just the happiest little atheist you ever did see.
If you are an athiest, then why do you come here?
Because I can? Because I was once like you, and finally figured out the truth, and so I have hope that some of you may one day do the same.
There is no such thing as an atheist, you believe in something, it is just the wrong thing.
You don’t understand what the word ‘atheist’ means.
It does not mean “one who doesn’t believe in anything”. It means “one who doesn’t believe in a god or gods.”
I certainly do believe in plenty. I don’t believe in your god, or any god.
pcal7,
That’s just not true. Obama cares more for the poor and oppressed than any politician in recent history – and definitely more than Republican candidates this year. According to Jesus, the Kingdom of God is about caring for the poor, the blind, the lame, the oppressed. Ipso Facto, Obama is wayyyyy more of a Kingdom politician than anyone we have seen in decades.
jimfox,
Scripture can always be twisted to fit an agenda. Jesus never said to make people give their hard-earned money by force. He said it was an attitude of the heart. People are to give to the charity or to the needy by choice, not by the government forcing it away from you and giving it to a cause of their choosing. Also, several studies have been done that prove that conservatives are way more charitable than liberals. Check out how much charitable giving Obama and Biden gave. Pathetic.
morsecode,
You do believe in a god…the god is YOU. And if you had been a born again, spirit-filled Christian, you never would have left. You cannot become unsaved.
Sorry, but I don’t believe myself to be god or even a pinnacle of humanity.
All athiests do. Who is charge of your life? You. Who decides what is right or wrong for your life? You. Who decides what direction you will go, where your moral compass comes from? You.
“Who is charge of your life? You.”
True…but my family, friends and society all have a part in it.
“Who decides what is right or wrong for your life? You.”
Well, me. And my parents. And my friends. And society.
“Who decides what direction you will go, where your moral compass comes from? You.”
From all those I already mentioned, and my evolutionary past.
Hey morse,
Did you lose your faith when you went to a public college?
I know a good sermon you should listen to, it is called, “Footsteps in the Hallway” by Carter Conlon, go listen to it and tell me what you think.
Nope. I got rid of my faith after attending public college. During college I was a pretty strong believer.
Does the sermon include actual evidence for a god? If not, I’m not terribly interested.
morsecode,
You should watch Ben Stein’s movie, “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed”. That movie is full of the proof you are looking for, from a scientific perspective. I’m sure it is at rental stores by now. We sell it at the bookstore I work at. I think it would be pretty hard after watching that movie to remain an athiest. If you do watch it, come back and tell us what you think.
morsecode,
Forgot to say that there is a plethora of scientists in that movie that explain how and why there must be a God, from a scientific viewpoint.
Actually, it doesn’t.
It offers no proof or evidence to back up any of its claims. It only tries to blame the holocaust on atheism, and by extension evolution, which is ridiculously ignorant.
