Many years ago, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and whispered, “There are no holidays from spiritual warfare. You have to fight everyday.”

Since then, I’ve also learned Satan will never be satisfied. Our enemy is like a roaring fire which never says, “Enough.” He will never offer us a cease-fire. Never! The war between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of God will continue right up until Jesus returns.

If we’re thinking the evil that is infiltrating America today will back off some time soon, I have bad news for all of us. It will continue and worsen in the days ahead.

So, we have two choices:

  1. Step off the battlefield and sit on the sidelines in defeat.
  2. Or pick up our weapons of warfare, fight, and love not our own lives even unto death.

My prayer today:

Lord, help American Christians to be watchful and serious so we can stand steadfast in faith, resisting Satan until our dying breaths. (Based on 1 Peter 5:8)

What do you think and has the Lord spoken to you today?

Join with me on Thursdays to fast and pray for America.

  1. PATRICIA ALBURY

I pray everyday to St. Michael to battle the demons that beset this country.

  2. Patricia,

Thanks. I even go one step further by using the name of Jesus. God bless you.

  3. Thank you for this insight and prayer. I know this to be true. One of satan’s lies to me, Is that it is too hard to do . . .I am weary and need a break. But the truth is , every time I turn to Jesus and His word, sing and praise Him, I am rested, strengthened And readied . This morning I read in Psalm 138 that He perfects all that concerns us. And never forsakes the work of His hands. Surely this includes spiritual warfare. God has us and we can do this . :). Blessings and joy for your day!

  4. Debbie,

Thanks for your testimony. It encourages me, too. God bless you.
