Once again, it’s time to hear from our sister in Jerusalem about what she is witnessing there as a believer in Yeshua. Put your prayer shawls on and pray for Israel and Sister J. Now here she is —
Our elections are scheduled to take place on the 9th of April and oh my! They are crucial but the amount of disgusting behavior makes it so hard to watch. I know that most of you have similar experiences, but oh, how God must hate it.
“For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous…” (Psalm 125:3)
I only quoted PART of the verse because that is what jumped out at me as I read it.
I have marked in my Bible for many years, the SO many places that The Lord said “Jerusalem where I have CHOSEN to put My Name” or”‘Israel whom I CHOSE” or “Jacob whom I have CHOSEN” and so forth.
I recently shared Jeremiah chapters 31 and 33 with a dear friend who was asking for verses to help battle replacement theology and perhaps that was on my mind when I prayed that “The Lord would put forth HIS scepter of favor and not allow the scepter of wickedness to rest on THE LAND ALLOTTED to the righteous.” Although we are NOT righteous, THIS IS THE LAND THAT HE ALLOTTED to the righteous and to us whom He will make righteous, for He is able and faithful.
We have just re-read the book of Esther where the scepter of the King was stretched out to show favor to Esther ALTHOUGH she did NOT APPROACH HIM ACCORDING TO THE LAW. Oh the wisdom of God! How often it is in the exception that we find His Character and Nature so perfectly reflected. So it is with fear and trembling that I lift these elections before Him, because it is NOT “our land” but HIS. We NEED His man to lead!
And in the midst of all of these serious situations there is ALWAYS humor to be found.
I have told you that LOCAL English language news is only available between 8-9 pm with a 5 minute midday news brief. So, ‘KAN English News” had me rolling on the floor laughing last night with their continuing interviews with the MANY political parties that are running in this election. When I say MANY I am speaking of FOURTY SEVEN! That’s right.
EVERYONE has an opinion and you might as well start a party around your opinion. I wish that I could remember them all for you. Each small party stated their platform. I remember the Pirate party which wants “it all to be done on the internet…and…oh yes…free internet for all.”
The “Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me’uman” Party, referring to the 18th century Hassidic Rabbi of Breslov, Rabbi Nachman has a platform that includes faith, security, joy, peace and unity – AND to bring the bones of the Rabbi of Breslov to the land of Israel and bury his bones here (that is their political platform).
One party platform is to double the pension of pensioners. Another is marijuana for all. It is quite a zoo out there, a virtual supermarket of quirks.
And all voted for on a paper ballot. And oh yes, one political party promises that we will begin to vote by computer…no more paper waste.

Paper ballot for Israel’s elections
I explained our ballot boxes to you a few months ago and since then our paper ballots have also been the subject of a numerous curiosity articles. I am printing a picture of what our ballots look like. Now. Consider that there are currently 47 parties and although some will undoubtedly fall by the wayside, voting is an interesting prospect with over 6 million eligible voters when each little slip of paper represents a party.
Tonight there will be an all city prayer meeting for the elections, for security, for revival in Body of Messiah and for the salvation of Israel. Although you will likely not receive this in time to pray along, time and space are nothing to our God. HE HEARS OUR PRAYERS. THEY AVAIL MUCH!
Yeshua said that when we pray we should enter into our closet and pray to our Father Who hears in secret and yes, He rewards openly. For HIS glory, may we each be before Him, whether in the closet or together in one accord.
May you be encouraged and blessed and in this season when we can be so EASILY be distracted from what is most precious to HIS Heart, may we all, be pruned from the disturbances that dull our hearing and discernment. May we indeed redeem the time – for the days are short.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking time to read what I am able to share and adding grace and forgiveness where it isn’t done well…for HOLY SPIRIT REVIVAL and for this nation, this people, according to His will.
Lovingly,
your sister J
Thank you. Mr. Larry! I didn’t get this one, so glad to read it here. Blessings and thanks!
Debbie,
Thanks. It just came recently. God bless you.
