New Book Release: “What Did God Accomplish in the 2020 Election?”

After writing quite a few blog posts on the 2020 election, I decided to write a short book on the 2020 Presidential Election:

Over forty years of America treading down a path of superficial spirituality has brought us to this moment of time, with Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States.

How could the Lord have let Evangelical Christians down? What about all of the prophecies proclaiming a victory for Donald Trump? Didn’t God understand the importance of the 2020 presidential election? What about Israel? What about Planned Parenthood and abortions? What about our religious freedoms? What about this? What about that?

What did God really accomplish by allowing Joe Biden to win the 2020 Presidential election?

This book answers many questions about how white Evangelical Christianity, the Prophetic Movement and the Republican Party have ended up in the mess we are in right now. And what we can do to move forward.

One of the most important books of 2021.

The Case for Trump Winning the November Election

Lance Wallnau called President Donald Trump — “God’s Chaos Candidate.” An apropos title, right?

Viewing Trump’s presidency at this point in time, we see an impeached President, one accused of colluding with the Russians, the overseer of the largest unemployment figures and the greatest GNP drop since the Great Depression, a man hated by the news media, Hollywood and at least 40% of the population, a leader scorned by most of the world’s leaders, a supposed failure in handling America’s response to Covid-19 and who knows what else!

Not only that, Trump is a bombastic tweeter who attacks his foes with disdain and little mercy.

There has never been a President like Trump before…or has there?

When President Harry Truman gave a rousing speech during the presidential election of 1948, a supporter in the crowd shouted, “Give’em Hell, Harry!”

“I don’t give them Hell,” Truman said. “I just tell the truth about them, and they think it’s Hell.”

From that time forward in his reelection bid, Truman was known as “Give’em Hell Harry.”

Sadly, Truman’s presidency was riddled by scandals, corruption, investigations, vulgar remarks, hatred by the media and a threat via a letter against a Washington Post critic:

Dec. 6, 1950

Mr. Hume:

I’ve just read your lousy review of Margaret’s concert. I’ve come to the conclusion that you are an “eight ulcer man on four ulcer pay.”

It seems to me that you are a frustrated old man who wishes he could have been successful. When you write such poppy-cock as was in the back section of the paper you work for it shows conclusively that you’re off the beam and at least four of your ulcers are at work.

Some day I hope to meet you. When that happens you’ll need a new nose, a lot of beefsteak for black eyes, and perhaps a supporter below!

Pegler, a gutter snipe, is a gentleman alongside you. I hope you’ll accept that statement as a worse insult than a reflection on your ancestry.

H.S.T.

Don’t you think President Truman might have used Twitter against his foes? I do.

But both Truman and Trump had one thing in common: Israel.

At eleven minutes after midnight on May 14, 1948, the very day Israel declared itself a nation, President Harry S. Truman recognized Israel as a sovereign nation. America was the first nation to do so.

On December 6, 2017, President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Then, the U.S. Embassy was moved to Jerusalem in May, 2018. Plus, Trump reversed decades of U.S. policy by recognizing Israel’s annexation of the Golan Heights. All of these were firsts!

No other presidents or world leaders have stuck their necks out for Israel like Truman and Trump did during their presidencies.

And I will bless those who bless you [Israel], and the one who curses you [Israel] I will curse. (Genesis 12:3)

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.” (Psalm 122:6)

Since I believe God honors His Word, I believe President Trump will be reelected for a second term in November.

Now, does this mean that I think Trump’s second four years in office will be easier than his first four years? No, absolutely not.

I believe Trump will win the presidency, but that the Republicans will lose both the Senate and the House in November.

Give’em Hell Donald!

NEWS FLASH: 13,000 or More Witches to Cast Spell on President Trump. What Should We Do?

Michael Snyder at End of the American Dream reports that “as Halloween approaches, thousands of witches will cast a ‘binding spell’ on Donald Trump on October 25th.” (See full article here.)

I am neither Republican, Democrat nor Independent. In fact, I have not voted in an election since 2008.

Yet even so, it wouldn’t matter to me if these witches were casting spells on former President Obama, President Trump or presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, I wouldn’t want witches and demons intervening in our politics.

How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had surrendered them? (Deuteronomy 32:30)

Although Satan and his demonic allies love to pile it on in spiritual battles, God has His mathematical formula to fight spiritual battles. One Christian standing in faith can defeat a thousand witches backed by demons and two standing in faith and agreement can defeat ten thousand witches backed by demons.

Using God’s formula, we can expect three or four Christians standing in faith and agreement to handle these so-called witches backed by demons. Just three or four!

What should we do?

Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest. (Proverbs 26:2 NIV)

First of all, ask the Holy Spirit to check each of our hearts. We don’t want the curse intended for President Trump to land on us. So, let’s make sure we don’t have pride, anger, hatred or another sin when we pray.

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior (1 Timothy 2:1-3)

Second, we need to understand that God wants us to pray and intercede for our government officials, not curse them.

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. (Matthew 18:19)

Third, standing in agreement moves the Father to act on our prayers.

Okay, let’s pray in faith and agreement:

Father in Jesus’ name, we plead the protective blood of Jesus over President Trump, his wife Melania, his children and grandchildren. And Father, because of 1 Timothy 2:1-3 and Matthew 18:19, we command all of the binding spells and curses uttered by witches and their variants to fall to the ground and have no effect on the Trump family for this Halloween season. Plus, we cry out to You for mercy for all of the witches and ask the Holy Spirit to open up their hearts to the love of the truth so they might be saved. Amen.

If you have prayed the above prayer in faith, just thank the Lord for His victory in this battle.

Prayer for Us to Watch What We Say About Trump, Obama and Other Leaders (3/28/2019)

My parents were staunch Republicans. They were not thrilled with Presidents Truman, Kennedy, and Johnson, but I can never remember them calling these presidents unkind names. They respected the office.

But today, we have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media outlets. Anyone can air his views to an audience, without leaving his home. All he has to do is write his viewpoint, or share one he likes from another person, and then hit the “share” button.

I have read some where President Obama was called the Antichrist and President Trump was called a racist. Neither of these are true. Period.

The sad thing is that quite a few Christians join in this madness. The Bible specifically warns us not to do this.

You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people(Exodus 22:28)

The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries (2 Peter 2:9-10)

Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. (Jude 8)

Christians are called to pray for our leaders, not to slander, gossip or speak evil of them. If we continue in this madness, we can expect God to judge us.

My prayer today:

Lord, send the Spirit of the fear of the Lord to convict American Christians of our words against leaders and those in authority so that our tongues are tamed and the words of our mouths are acceptable in Your sight. (Based on Isaiah 11:2, James 3:8 and Psalm 19:14)

Prayers for Trump, America and Israel (3/20/2019)

Lars Enarson’s prophetic words have stirred many Christians to fast and pray against President Trump’s “Deal of the Century” plan to create peace in the Middle East by dividing the land of Israel to establish a Palestinian state. (You can read more on this here.)

Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of not effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. (Psalm 33:8-11)

Prayer Focus Point #1: Pray that the Lord brings the counsel of America and other nations to nothing and that the plans of President Trump and other leaders will be frustrated by God and have no effect on Israel. (Psalm 33:10)

Prayer Focal Point #2: Pray and agree that the counsel of the Lord stands forever for Israel and His plans to all generations of Israel. (Psalm 33:11)

Prayer Focal Point #3: Pray that an Esther will arise and convince President Trump that his “Deal of the Century” will endanger Israel and America.

Prayer Focal Point #4: Pray for a great victory for the political parties in Israel’s upcoming elections that refuse to negotiate a division of Israel to establish a Palestinian state.

Prayers for California (1/8/2019)

Last December, I felt what we saw in Donald Trump was pretty much what we had to put up with. A 70-year-old man with swooped back hair, wearing a Brioni suit, dripping with pride, petty anger, intelligence and courage.

But I also felt what we saw did not count much compared to what God saw in Trump’s heart. I believed God saw a man who would take a stand for Israel, weather every international storm sure to hit him and still move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, recognizing the Holy City as the capital of Israel. (WND, column by Larry Nevenhoven, 12/22/2017)

If my insight was correct when I wrote the above column for WND, then there might be some problems for those who openly defy or rebel against President Trump –

He allowed no one to oppress them; He rebuked kings on their account, saying, “Touch not My anointed ones, do My prophets no harm!” (Psalm 105:15 ESV)

I don’t believe President Trump is a prophet, but I do absolutely believe he is God’s chosen man to bless Israel at this stage in history. So, along with the anointing, I believe God will protect and avenge President Trump.

How will God do this? I don’t claim to know, but I do understand that the Hebrew word translated into our English word rebuked can mean more than a verbal reprimand. It can  also mean to be judged and chastened.

Why pray for California?

Gavin Newsom was sworn in as California’s 40th governor yesterday. In his acceptance speech, he stated that California would offer an alternative to the corruption and incompetence in the White House. Not only that, Newsom placed California in a nation-state category versus the Trump Administration and America.

Therefore, I live in California, a state that openly thumbs its nose at God’s anointed. This may not end well for us.

My prayer for today:

O Lord, California has sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled against You and Your ways. To You belongs righteousness, but to us open shame because we have sinned against You. According to Your righteousness, let Your anger and Your wrath turn away from California. O Lord, listen to Your servant’s pleas for mercy and for Your own sake, make Your face shine upon California, which is a desperate state in need of Your Spirit now. (Based on Daniel 9:3-19)

Join with me on Tuesdays to fast and pray for California and the West Coast.

Sarah Sanders, Separation of Children from Illegal Immigrants, and Christian Responses

dolly-335

The White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and her party of seven were asked to leave the Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, by Stephanie Wilkinson, the restaurant owner on last Friday night. Wilkinson told Sanders, “We have certain standards that need to be upheld, such as honesty, compassion, and cooperation. I’d like to ask you to leave.”

Her words were based on her dislike for the Trump administration and his positions on LGBT issues.

Sarah Sanders replied, “That’s fine. I’ll go.”

Sanders even offered to pay, but the owner said that it was on the house.

My take is that the owner’s actions were illegal and wrong.

Why?

Stephanie Wilkinson and the Red Hen Restaurant have a covenant via their sales tax agreement with the state of Virginia to provide goods and services to all peaceable and willing buyers who walk into the restaurant. They do not have the option of discriminating against customers based on their race, religion, sex, age, political parties, and so forth.

Wait a second!

What about the Masterpiece Cakeshop lawsuit where the owner, Jack Phillips, refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple? Didn’t Phillips claim that his moral standards would be violated if he baked the wedding cake? Yes, he did. And Phillips just recently won a narrow Supreme Court decision in his lawsuit.

I wrote an article for WND disagreeing with Phillips’ stance because he also had a covenant via his sales tax agreement with the state of Colorado to provide goods and services for all customers who entered his business establishment. Even though Phillips won his Supreme Court lawsuit, I still agree with what I wrote.

What about children being separated from their illegal immigrant parents? Is President Trump a ruthless monster for doing this?

Actually, President Trump has been following the law. The Clinton Administration and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to the Flores Settlement in 1997. This multilayered law requires minors to be separated from adults while the adult parents are being criminally prosecuted for illegal entry into America.

Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama followed the same Flores Settlement and separated children from their illegal immigrant parents before Trump became president. Why is everyone complaining now? Where were their voices for the past twenty years?

How do Christians respond to these issues?

All over the map!

Some are outraged by what Sarah Sanders endured at the Red Hen Restaurant, but shout for joy because Phillips won his lawsuit. Many believers think Trump is the equal of the Antichrist for following the law about separating children from their illegal immigrant parents but omit mentioning anything about Clinton, Bush, and Obama. Others fall somewhere in between on each issue.

Is it possible that Christian opinion on issues like these are formed more by the media than by the Word of God and prayer?

Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. (Romans 13:1-2)

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.(Titus 3:1)

Do the above verses mean we need to walk lockstep with ungodly laws? Of course, not. That’s how the Nazis browbeat Christians in Germany to accept their ungodly ways. But if we disobey ungodly laws, we do have to realize that we may end up being treated like Dietrich Bonhoeffer who was imprisoned and hung by the Nazis. If so, we need to be as accepting as Bonhoeffer was with his execution.

But also, how many Christians took the time to check on the veracity of the statements by the major media, claiming Trump had developed a new policy for handling illegal immigrants’ children? And also, how many believers took the time to discover the true story behind the little crying girl and President Trump on Time Magazine’s cover?

Wake up Christians!

Pray and study before acting on social media and wherever else. Remember we will give an accounting at the Judgment Seat of Christ for every idle [lazy, shunning the labor one ought to perform] word we speak or write.

Prayers for America (4/19/2018)

Jerusalem has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. The city rests on one of the most hotly contested sites in the history of the world.

Many, including me, believe the original Garden of Eden was centered in Jerusalem. If this is true, the city has been undergoing spiritual warfare for 6000 years, ever since Adam and Eve walked in the Garden and Satan deceived them.

So, there’s no wonder why President Trump is undergoing such hatred by the media and his enemies. Trump was the first president to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and plans on moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on May 14, 2018.

Like most of us, Trump is a flawed person, but God knew his frailties when He chose him to be president of America. I believe Trump’s strength is his stubborn determination to plow forward with his plans, including those for Jerusalem and Israel.

My prayer today:

Lord, raise up people who are willing to stand in the gap before You for President Trump and for Jerusalem during this time period. (Based on Ezekiel 22:30)

What do you think and has the Lord spoken to you today?

Prayers for America (3/8/2018)

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

Paul the Apostle urged the churches to pray for kings and people in political authority. The Roman Emperor at the time was Nero, the man who beheaded the Apostle Paul.

Shouldn’t we do the same for our leaders?

My prayer today:

Lord, I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to President Trump the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of his understanding being enlightened; that President Trump may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. (Based on Ephesians 1:17-19)

Prayers for America (2/16/2017)

11160680_10202970551704040_6853963304935390655_n

“Son you have been deceived.”

This short message came to me after praying for hours in the early morning of July 8, 1994. I knelt on the floor next to my bed in an upstairs bedroom of my two-bedroom townhouse apartment in Ames, Iowa.

The words were not the ones I longed to hear from the Lord at that particular moment. I hoped to hear about a miraculous deliverance, much like the Lone Ranger arriving on his white stallion, Silver, with the U. S. Cavalry riding alongside.

Those five words could have just as well been etched on my gravestone. They ripped my life to shreds. My prophetic calling, ministry, and finances died right then and there. Rigor mortis settled upon my dreams as I knelt on the carpet.

If the Apostle Peter’s worst day occurred when he denied Jesus three times, then this was my all-time worst day. Every bad day since then has been, at best, a little speed bump on the road of life compared to that day.

(Excerpt from The Hunt for Larry Who by Larry Nevenhoven, © 2014, Amazon eBook)

I know what it’s like to be deceived. It’s painful and costly to relationships and finances. I wouldn’t want anyone to ever suffer through such agonizing experiences. But most of all, if I fell under the spell of deception again, I’d want someone crying to the Lord and praying for me.

My prayer today:

Lord, I cry out to You and stand in the gap for all of the protesters who are filled with anger and outrage at Your servant President Donald Trump. Lord have mercy upon them as You did for me and open their hearts up to the love of the truth.

What do you think and has the Lord spoken to you today?

Join with me on Thursdays to fast and pray for America.
